We were talking about typographic mistakes in our catalogue at work today, which inevitably led us to the funniest name authority mistake we have found in our catalogue to date …. “Conslutants” instead of “Consultants” … I don’t remember how long ago we found (and corrected) this mistake, but I still laugh every time I think about it. Wouldn’t it be nice if all ILS’s came with comprehensive spell-checks? Or, would that just spoil the fun …
