Can I create?

May 17, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I don’t know when it started, but my love of glass has existed for a very long time.  I even use coloured glasses at home (some each of cobalt blue, amethyst, green, and amber) instead of clear glasses!  Anyways, after admiring all types of glass and glass art over the years (blown, cast, fused, and stained), I began trying my hands at glass fusing a couple of years ago.  I don’t know why, but I had assumed that I would not be able to create using glass. Much to my surprise, I have discovered I CAN create … and warm glass/glass fusing is how I am creating. Granted, I am new to it, but I am enjoying it immensely.
